DIY Disco: A Local Arts & Crafts Bar

Client Background

I've had the pleasure of working with DIY Disco: Cocktails & Crafts since its early concept development in 2021. In the wake of the pandemic, DIY Disco offered a cool, new space for community and connection, where anyone could confidently try their hand at crafting with step-by-step tutorials, creative assistants, and an array of specialty cocktails and mocktails.

Project Summary

From brand ideation to social media strategy to content creation, I've had a hand in nearly every aspect of the marketing and communications effort. Since opening in December 2022, DIY Disco has experienced steady rises in reservations, brand awareness, and digital reach and engagement on social media platforms.

Like the musical genre and dance style, the DIY Disco brand is all about embracing a bold, playful celebration of the human experience. It’s simultaneously glamorous and relatable with its bright colors and groovy music. More than an aesthetic crafting bar, the DIY Disco brand is founded upon this idea of community - of fostering connection through creative artwork and shared experience. From the rainbows and the disco balls to the glitter and the cocktails, DIY Disco strives to create an atmosphere of hospitality that charms and delights by treating all guests with kindness, attention, and respect.
